Looking for ways to support the Center beyond your membership? Consider a donation. The non-profit Outdoor Center can accept your tax deductible donations. We accept donations to several specific funds or you can make a general donation.
The Kathy Wright Memorial Scholarship Fund:
Supporting our kids’ ski programming by making race, travel and program opportunities more affordable to more families thanks to generosity of our community.
The Larry Gluckman Scholarship Fund:
This scholarship fund honors Larry's legacy by providing access to rowing programs at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. It helps young rowers, especially those of color and from marginalized groups, overcome financial barriers to attend summer camps and training.
A Most Beautiful Thing Inclusion Fund:
We are honored to act as the fiscal sponsor of this organization who are working to break barriers within rowing. They are committed to unlocking the potential within diverse and underserved youth by introducing them to the transformative sport of rowing. We aim to equip these young people with the tools to become champions in their communities, on the water, and in life. (Donate on their website).
General Donations:
General Donations support the whole breadth of what we do, such as:
GRP skiing, sculling or biathlon coaching, travel, or entries
School group visits for mountain biking or skiing
Trail maintenance and development
Land and lake conservation (e.g. funding the continued mitigation of eurasian milfoil in Big Hosmer)
