Race Report: Windblown Ski-O and the Bogburn
Ski-O
From Allison:
“Kestrel had a great race on Sunday, Jan. 5th at Windblown ski area in southern New Hampshire. In a field of 27 racers on the advanced course:
1st Adrian Owens 42:43
2nd Alex Jospe 42:54
3rd Kestrel Owens 42:55
8th Melanie Sergiev 1:03:59
Adrian was given a poor map and had difficulty reading where his markers were for the first few controls. Alex Jospe is one on the top woman on the U.S. Ski-O team. Melanie had difficulty finding her second control as there were some deceiving trails that were not mapped that through her off. Kestrel had a pretty clean race with quick decisions and few mistakes. Kestrel also went out and did a second less advanced course after his race and was first on that course.”
Strong work Kes!
