Training week of 10/7

EVERYONE:

  1. Winter program information and registration: info and schedule are finalized here. Good job to all y’all who successfully navigated signups last week! Reach out with additional questions.

  2. Equipment: couple things:

    • we will open our online storefront for season-long rentals in mid-October. That’s still a whole week away. Don’t worry, you will get alllll the notifications about it when it’s ready. In the meantime, hold tight.

    • this is an off year for the biennial Craftsbury Ski Swap, but our friends at MNC have one on Sunday, Oct. 13.

  3. Attendance form yes, always and forever

JUNIORS:

  1. Looking ahead to winter: Here are all the details that exist so far re: the Eastern Cup schedule & Craftsbury’s team travel plans.

  2. Racing licenses: US Ski & Snowboard memberships get more expensive on Oct. 15; hop to it if you plan on doing any Eastern Cups this winter! While you’re at it, take care of your NENSA ones, too. You can read more about what you need and for what kind of racing at this blog post. Holler with questions; it can be confusing.

U14s:

  1. Nothing new to report here

BKL:

  1. We’re tentatively planning to wrap up BKL for the fall on 10/17. We’ve been lucky with good weather but it’s going to end at some point!

BIATHLETES:

  1. Start/end times: remember that we’re trying to get biathletes to finish ski practices quite promptly or early to get to biathlon by the time posted on the plan. YOU can help with this by being efficient and transitioning quickly.

  2. Read this for info about racing this winter: Biathlon race opportunities 2024-25

ADULTS/MASTERS:

  1. Normal week this week.

Whoaaaa throwback! Recognize any of this crew?!
