Celebrate Mother’s Day with us on Sunday, May 12, for the sixth annual Genny Tenny fundraiser run, a point-to-point dirt road run connecting the communities of Craftsbury and Albany! This year we'll be offering multiple options, a 10-mile run or a 5-kilometer run or walk. The traditional 10-mile run connects the two Gennys, starting in Craftsbury Village and ending in Albany village. The 5-kilometer course will start at the top of Pitkin Road (near the 7-mile mark of the 10-mile course) and finish in Albany village. Following the race we'll celebrate with a rocking post-race brunch and party! This event is sponsored by the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and The Genny as a fundraiser for the Albany Community Trust.
We are also pleased to partner with the Central Vermont Runners to bring you an opportunity to double your fun that weekend - the Double Dirt Challenge! Run the Genny Tenny on Saturday and the Adamant Half Marathon on Saturday, May 11th. Participants receive 20% off the Genny Tenny, a unique award and double the fun! Participants must sign up for each race individually in the Double Dirt Challenge Category. Details below.
