Thanks for joining us for Will Ruth’s webinar this week on "Strength Training for Scullers” - check back soon for the full recording, which you’ll be able to find at this link, along with supplemental materials from Will’s presentation.

Next up is GRP Head Coach Steve Whelpley, who will present a webinar on “Sculling Semantics.” Why do we use terms like catch, finish, drive, and recovery? Are there other, better words we can use? Steve’s talk, subtitled “An English Major’s Deconstruction of Sculling Terminology,” will tease out the pitfalls or traps of the language we use to talk about the stroke, and address how purposeful semantics can deliver changes in technique.

We hope you’ll join us for this talk, which will take place on Wednesday, August 19th at 4:00pm EDT. Please register in advance via the link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
