Please email us if you are new to the program to confirm you are a good fit.

Visiting Teams
Here is the process for visiting teams to use the Craftsbury Range:
Step 1: Identify Your Range Safety Officer (RSO)
Your RSO must have completed US Biathlon or Biathlon Canada’s RSO certification process and be approved by Craftsbury Biathlon leadership before they can book a session. Coaches who are interested in bringing their team to Craftsbury should reach out to biathlon@craftsbury.com to learn more about our RSO requirements.
Step 2: RSO Makes a Reservation for a Range Session
The RSO creates a range session by signing into their Craftsbury account and adding a range session to the range calendar. Coaches planning on bringing a bigger group, please reach out to biathlon@craftsbury.com to give us a heads up before booking large sessions.
Our goal will be to safety accommodate as many biathlon users as we can and we reserve the right to tweak range reservation times to maximize range use, particularly during busy times.
Step 3: Athletes Select Range Session
Athletes must meet requirements outlined at the top of this page. They will need a Craftsbury account in order to see the Craftsbury range calendar. To sign up for a session, they should login, click on biathlon from the main menu, click on register for a biathlon session and then calendar will appear. Navigate to the session that your RSO created and select it. In some cases, your RSO may have invited you to sign up through an email link. In that case, the link should bring you directly to the relevant range session.
Step 4: Get a Membership
As part of the checkout process, we require that you have a valid Craftsbury Biathlon Membership. If you do not have this, the system will prompt you to get one.
No RSO?
Highly experienced individual athletes may also be able to “piggy-back” on the scheduled range sessions of other teams with prior permission from the session’s RSO. Once they have permission from that RSO, they should follow the normal sign-up routine for that range session.
