Rollerski reminders
Fall, when a skier’s fancy turns to rollerskiing! Let’s review how to enjoy the rollerloop at Craftsbury:
1) Use of the loop requires a reservation by everyone not a part of a training session
Reservations are found here. Don’t see a time? No rolling available at that time.
2) Rollerskiing at Craftsbury isn’t free
Yep, use of the loop costs something - even if you are an annual member.
Overnight guests - reach out to the front office about a coupon code to unlock your complimentary rollerloop reservation.
Ski program participants - Talk to your coach for a coupon covered by your program fee.
If you anticipate using the loop more than a handful of times, the most cost-effective approach is to sign up for a rollerski loop season pass ($50). You’ll still need to schedule a reservation—but your season pass confirmation email will include a coupon code that enables you to make your reservation free of charge.
If you only want to roll a few times, it’ll be cheaper to pay by the outing. Members get a 50% discount on rollerloop reservation fees, making it $10/pop. Members who want to go this route should email jrskiing@craftsbury.com for a coupon code and then use it to schedule their reservations.
Non-members - The $20 rollerski day pass includes your access to the rollerloop as well as the remainder of the trail network. Note that the regular day pass does not include rollerloop access.
3) The Loop has rules you’ve got to follow
Helmets! Traffic patterns! While super-effective for specific training, rollerskiing can be dangerous. Follow these rules for your and everyone else’s safety.
With a little bit of effort on everyone’s part, the loop can be a safe training tool for all of us to make the most of the snow this winter. Read all about rollerskiing at Craftsbury.
