Shoulder Season Happenings
End of April after a long winter at the Center, and we're hard at work getting things ready for spring. One of those projects is some tree trimming. Corey's felled a variety of trees around campus to open more space in strategic locations or work at ensuring the long term health of the landscape. These trees will be milled into lumber that we'll use in various projects around the Center.
The southmost dock after heavy spring rains.
I'm always blown away at how much work maintenance is faced with after a winter. Here's an example: most of the road has washed down the path and is now on the southernmost sculling dock. Thanks to the maintenance staff's hard work, we enjoy a beautiful campus.
