Independence Weekend Photos

We had a great time over our first annual Independence Weekend. Lots of great tours, demonstrations and learning opportunities. A big thanks to all our friends, neighbors, members and everyone who helped make the weekend as engaging and interesting.

Saturday morning started at Sterling College's farm.

Sunday featured a visit to South Albany and Urie's Bonneview Farm.

Monday was dedicated to Independent power and green building. This is Harry Miller’s turbine.

Harry also is involved with several local projects that blend traditional aesthetics and state of the art efficiency, like this house on the west side of the Common.

Monday lunch was wood fired pizza at the Center, with fresh mozzarella!
