Hosmer Point's Creatures
Hosmer Point hams.
It was chilly and rainy today and after a morning trail run Towhee and I went on a mountain bike ramble down Lost Nation Road to check out Hosmer Point. The camp's 52 acres are loaded with single track trails, enticing fields and meadows and all sorts of new and growing projects. One of those projects is a farm to table enterprise. Raised garden beds with veggies of all stripes, a flock of chickens and some piglets are the beginning of what will become something much larger. The piglets came running for their chance at a photo op!
