Saturday Action with Run2Ski

Amidst lazily falling flakes of white, 17 runner skiers headed out for a big morning on the trails. A large group cranked 15k on Ruthie's Run and its Extension and ended up at Charlie's Cabin for brownie treats before heading home with a tailwind on Big Hosmer. A smaller group led by Coach Maria Stuber received attentive one on one coaching and they did a Hosmer lake loop including a stop at Charlie's. The flakes subsided, the sun came out and bluebird skies ruled the day.After an incredible lunch of pizza, soup and other delectables, we again headed out for a skate skiing session as well as snow shoeing. Dion Snowshoes in Bennington gave us a slew of fast racing snowshoes so we were eager to really test them on the trails.Scenes from Saturday:
