Vermont Open Junior Championships

This weekend brought the Vermont Open Junior Championships Craftsbury! What is this, you ask? Yet another way to bring Vermont junior racers together in this pandemic year. The course wasn’t just who was the fittest and technically best, it also who could best navigate jumps, rollers, drops, and banked corners. “Air time” was not required off the jump, but the “B line” did take a little longer to complete, so this course seemed to favor the bold!

For safety’s sake, boys raced on Saturday and women on Sunday, with seeded groups being separated by five minute intervals. Nearly 70 girls and 70 boys raced.
