Vaccination Policy for Overnight Guests at Craftsbury Outdoor Center
Effective November 1, COC will be requiring overnight guests of eligible age to show proof of full vaccination.
Vermont has been incredibly successful at combatting some of the worst effects of the coronavirus variants, due in part to its high vaccination rate. But the pandemic is clearly not over yet. As we head deeper into the Fall and Winter, we need to redouble our efforts and take all of the steps we can to protect ourselves and our community.
With this in mind, and given the FDA approval of the Pfizer vaccine, Craftsbury Outdoor Center has instituted a mandatory vaccination policy for its employees, GRP athletes, coaches and related support personnel that are on our premises. To complete our safety efforts, we will also be instituting a vaccine requirement for overnight guests, effective November 1.
This policy applies to houseguests of vaccine-eligible age (currently age 12 and over, but this is expected to change). For children not yet vaccine eligible, a negative PCR test result from a test within the prior 72 hours of your stay will be required.
Please direct any questions regarding this policy to the COC Office - stay@craftsbury.com. This policy is subject to change at any time.
