This past weekend three GRP biathletes competed at the third World Cup of the season in Annecy-Le Grand Bornard, France. The weekend kicked off with a sprint in which Susan Dunklee had her best result of the year thus far placing 10th with clean shooting. Clare Egan and Emily Dreissigacker placed 81st and 88th respectively with three misses each.

Susan was the only America woman in the pursuit. She improved on her starting position moving up to 6th place with only two misses. In the following day’s mass start (in which she was also the sole American competitor), she finished 20th with three misses.

World Cup biathlon will take a short break for the holidays, but stayed tuned after the New Year for World Cup 4 starting January 4th in Oberhof, Germany!
