We're hosting two events tomorrow: Baxter Outdoor Winter Tri, and Stage 2 of the Tour de Chittenden. Whether you're a tourist out for a fun ski, or a racer or spectator, here are some details to help your day go more smoothly tomorrow.

Baxter Outdoor Winter Tri will test competitors with snowrun, snowshoe, and Nordic ski legs. Race gets underway at 10:00am, with registration opening at 8:00am, and racer meeting at 9:30am. Solo competitors or teams can compete in this event, with optional solo legs for racers as well. You can see the course info here, and find full dets on the Baxter Outdoor Website.

The Tour de Chittenden is a multi-stage event for VPA (Vermont High School) Nordic ski races. The format is modelled on the Tour de Ski and other multi-stage competitions. No, Craftsbury hasn't moved to Chittenden county, but between mother nature's generosity and our grooming team's tenacity/ingenuity, we're enjoying some great conditions right now. We're honored to be included in the event, even if we make the event name geographically inconsistent.

The Tour stage we'll be hosting tomorrow is a 3/6k classic race. The information we have shows varsity boys kicking things off at 1:30pm, and then the other categories will run successively thereafter:  Varsity Girls, JV Boys, JV Girls, Middle School Boys, and Middle School Girls. The final course hasn't been relayed at this point, but if you check in with the Activity Center staff tomorrow they'll get you set right up with routes to view all the action - or avoid it entirely.

However you prefer your wintry experience, we hope you'll make the trip up to the Center this weekend!
