Running Biathlon Nationals Results #1 UDPATED

A beautiful fall day here in Craftsbury for Day #1 of Running Biathlon Nationals! Today included both Novice and Experienced races, bringing together more than forty biathletes for some intense running and shooting.

In the Experienced race, the women’s podium was headlined by GRP athlete Susan Dunklee, CNSC junior Amelia Circosta, and Craftsbury/EABC master Christine Dillon. On the men’s side, GRP athlete Jake Brown took top honors, followed by National Guard athlete Sean Doherty, then CNSC junior Leo Circosta.

In Novice race, the men’s podium consisted of Liam, Jack, and Jason. The medal winner’s on the women’s side were Cydney, Laura, and Gail.

The day wrapped up with an afternoon shooting competition, contested by a slew of racers from the day as well as GRP athletes and coaches. The contest was a mix of speed and precision shooting. The podium was Carsen Campbell, Sean Doherty, and Raleigh Goessling. See results here.
