Presentation: Nunavut, an arctic shorebird study

Wednesday, February 27 at 7:00pm, join Craftsbury Employee, Eloise Girard as she discusses her time living in the Canadian Arctic and participating in a long term study on shorebirds. Eloise studied applied ecology in Quebec and has 10 or so years of field experience working with Ducks Unlimited, Canadian Wildlife Service and different Universities. In 2013, she was hired as a contractual for Canadian Wildlife Service to spend 2 months in Nunavut, Canadian Arctic to take part of a long term study on shorebirds. She will share her experience living in remote camp and also elements that are impacting the shorebirds population.
