New singletrack commuter option: "GOTR"

UPDATE - 3 September - The former name of this trail was causing confusion as users were reading it as an admonition rather than a trail name. With that in mind, we’ve re-named the trail “GOTR” for Get Out of The Road.

Pedestrian and cycling commuters to COC have a new option to get up Murphy’s Hill: a short commuter section of singletrack starting at the bottom of the hill on Lost Nation Rd, named Local Traffic only GOTR, for “Get out of the road.”

This bit of singletrack offers vulnerable road users an option to get off the road where the road steepens and sight lines worsen. It is also the first part of a larger project to offer off-road options from the Center’s campus to Geri’s/Fox’s and Seeds of Descent.

The trail empties you into the treeline on the edge of Murphy’s Field.
