GRP Biathletes Compete at Canadian National Team Trials

This past week GRP biathletes raced in the Canadian National Team Trials in Canmore, Alberta. GRP athletes Susan Dunklee, Emily Dreissigacker, and Clare Egan, and GRP summer training partner Kelsey Dickinson are all currently attending a USBA on-snow training camp in Canmore where they were able to compete in two of the Canadian team trials sprint races last week.
In the first sprint race, Susan was the first GRP finisher and second American placing 6th overall with three standing misses. Close behind was Emily in 7th with only one standing miss. Clare placed 11th and Kelsey finished 16th. In the second sprint race, Susan placed 5th overall with clean shooting and was the first American finisher. She was followed by Emily in 11th and Clare in 12th who both shot clean. Kelsey finished 20th with two misses.
