This past weekend the GRP biathletes and Craftsbury juniors raced the fifth North American Biathlon Cup in Jericho. 

In Saturday's sprint race, Casey Smith posted the top-GRP mens result finishing 3rd with two misses. He was closely followed by Ethan Dreissigacker in 4th, with only one miss. Alex Howe was the next GRP athlete across the line in 7th and Mike Gibson finished 8th. For the women, Kaitlynn Miller had the top-result in 2nd with Emily Dreissigacker only one second back in 3rd. Rounding out the GRP lineup was Hallie Grossman in 4th. For the juniors, Bjorn Westervelt placed 2nd in the boys category (15-16 years) and Marika Massey-Bierman finished 3rd in the the youth womens category (17-18 years).

In Saturday's pursuit race, Emily led the way for the GRP with a solid 2nd place finish. She was followed by Hallie in 6th. On the men's side, Casey once again posted the top-GRP mens result in 8th place. He was followed by Ethan in 10th, Mike in 11th, and Alex in 13th. Bjorn was the sole Craftsbury junior representative in the pursuit race and showed his consistency with another 2nd place finish in the boys category. 

NorAm racing continues next weekend in Lake Placid.
