Greensboro Residents now qualify for complimentary annual memberships
Effective immediately, residents* of the town of Greensboro receive complimentary annual memberships to Craftsbury, the same as folks living in Craftsbury and Albany.
Craftsbury’s trails couldn’t exist without the generosity and support of more than 100 trail landowners and the surrounding communities - including Greensboro where Craftsbury currently grooms and maintains around 40k of trails, with trailheads from the Town Hall and the Highland Lodge.
While the annual membership is free, we do ask that citizens complete the resident membership form annually so we can keep in touch with you as well as get waiver acceptance.
Membership entitles the holder to:
Year-round trail access to open Craftsbury trails whether in Craftsbury, Greensboro or Albany (not all winter trails are summer accessible, and vice versa)
Ongoing series of member events of all kinds.
Access to Ski Club programming, Hosmer Community Rowing and other programs (additional program fees apply).
FREE access to our weekly race series
The Craftsbury member e-newsletter sign-up.
Complimentary memberships enjoy all the same benefits as paying members, except VSSA Reciprocity and discounts on equipment rentals.
How do I sign up?
Sign up (for free!) here. Residents are issued a code that zeroes the cost of membership at checkout.
How do I see what’s open or has been groomed?
The Greensboro Trails are listed in the broader Craftsbury snow report, just scroll down.
Can my dog come?
Dogs are welcome on the loop by Town Hall. The rest of the Greensboro system is dog-free. Craftsbury offers some more dog loops closer to its campus. Get the full scoop.
Are there maps?
Greensboro is a bit further out than Craftsbury and also has some private trails that intersect the trail system. It can be easy to get turned around. As such, taking a map is an especially wonderful idea.
Where should I park to ski in Greensboro?
We run down all the details in our guide to skiing at Greensboro - including parking. Read all the information.
