Craftsbury had a big turnout this weekend at the Julbo Eastern Grind in Williston, VT, which is part of the Kenda Cup East series. Several CNSC juniors made the podium, and Sheldon won his category!

Brothers Trey Jones and Owen Jones raced the men's Category 3 12-18 division, and Trey took the win while Owen placed 4th. Owen and Trey are both in the BKL competitive group at Craftsbury.

In the women's Category 2 12-18 division, Phoebe Sweet took the win, followed by Callie Young in second.

Finn Sweet and Jack Young raced in the men's Category 2 12-18 division. Finn placed second, and Jack placed 10th. Callie, Phoebe, Jack, and Finn are all Craftsbury Eastern Cup juniors.

Avery Ellis, EC junior and a recent graduate from North Country Union, placed an impressive 5th in the Open/Category 1 women's division.

Also, Craftsbury IT guru/jack of all trades Sheldon Miller won his category, the men's Category 1 40-49 division. Xavier Koontz-Miller, former CNSC skier and Sheldon's son, placed 4th in the Category 2 men's 19-29 division. Congrats to all the racers! Looks like cross training has been paying off.
