Cancelled: Craftsbury Beer Run
Text from email to registered participants.
Hello runners,
We’ve been holding on tight to the 2020 Craftsbury Beer Run, but it’s time to let it go. We are officially cancelling the race. Every racer will receive a full refund, all of which were submitted today (June 5) and will be processed in a few business days.
From the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been and we remain fully committed to support the State of Vermont's guidelines. In light of this and other strict disease-control measures currently in place and unlikely to change drastically before August, we decided it was in the best interest of all involved to cancel the event.
This year’s race was set to raise funds for the Center for an Agriculture Economy and their Community Gardens project. If you are still interested and able to make a donation, please consider doing so here.
If you’re looking for some running structure, coaching, and community this summer, check out our new program offering: Virtual Running Camp! This is a month-long program, starting at the beginning of every month!
Thank you all for your understanding and support through this. We are already looking forward to the 2021 Craftsbury Beer Run, which will no doubt be all the more spectacular!
Happy trails and hills and brews to you --
- The folks at Craftsbury
