2023 Community Run Season

Community Track looks a little different this year. Introducing CommRun! Beginning May 25 at 5:30pm, join us for Thursday evening interval workouts at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. We will incorporate some of the flat running workouts you know and love from CommTrack, but we are excited to add in a wider variety of running workouts that will take place in and around the Center. Important note: you need to register for practice online ahead of time.

These workouts can be a fun and motivating way to begin an individual running routine, learn more about training, and boost aerobic capacity. From a fitness standpoint, incorporating workouts of varied speeds and efforts into your weekly exercise program elicits much more substantial physical gains than running or walking 30 minutes at the same rate every day. Our workouts are a measurable way of achieving varied exertion, with the added benefits of learning your own individual paces, increasing your body awareness, and tracking your progress over time.
