So, you're winding down your skiing for the year (we're on day 152 of skiing here at Craftsbury...) and are wondering how to keep this fitness going, maybe even grow it in advance of next winter. Without a glacier, what is a New England skier to do?

How about checking out some of the dryland offerings at Craftsbury? There's an adage in skiing: Skiers are made in the summer." In addition to our sculling and running camps (both great training options), we offer annual members dryland training during the warm months, as well as a camp for BKL kids (and a JR version to come!). Some basic information -

2014 Summer Dryland Programming
We have programs for most everyone that meet from 2-4 times per week. Programs are generally organized by age (e.g. U14/16 = for 12-15 year olds), but final selection/placement will depend on participant's needs. Find details on this page. Ready to Register? Head on over to Skireg.

2014 BKL Daycamps
The BKL camps are always some of the most memorable weeks of the year at Craftsbury, and we're sure this year will be no exception. This July 14-18 and August 11-15, skiers age 8-13 will join us daily from 9am to 3pm at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. The skiers will work hard, and play even harder!

There'll be lots of fun games, a variety of ski workouts, tons of opportunities to learn or improve skills like roller skiing, shooting with a real biathlon rifle, sculling, mountain biking, all capped by the traditional adventure race and pizza party at the end of the week.

Find more info on the camps here, and register at Skireg.
