The Genny Tenny is our popular point-to-point dirt road running race linking the communities of Craftsbury and Albany, VT. We’ll be offering a 5k option as well as the traditional 10-mile distance.
Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025 for the Black River Grand Prix & Epic presented by the Hitchhiker Bike Shop, a celebration of big loops, varied terrain, and fun on bikes in the woods. The format is simple: a mass start on one big lap (or two).
This camp for U17s is intended for both experienced biathletes and skiers looking to try the sport. We believe junior skiers interested in biathlon shouldn’t have to give up either their winter XC ski racing nor their summer ski training to experience biathlon training. We’ll work on rifle fit, dial in the basics like natural point of aim and trigger squeeze using targeted drills, and include a mix of focused shooting training, physical training (rollerskiing, running, strength), and “combo” training (shooting with a higher heartrate). Former CSC skier Tzevi Schwartz competes at the 2022 VPA state championship
The best high school skiers in Vermont descend on the Outdoor Center on Thursday, February 20th for the first day of the VPA state championships. The Center will be hosting the freestyle day of states, while Prospect Mountain will host the classic day on Tuesday the 25th.
Racing kicks off at 10:30am with the girls’ individual start 5km. Please find a schedule and course maps below.
10:30am - Girls’ individual start 5k (North 5k course)
11:45am - Boys’ individual start 5k (North 5k course)
2:00pm - Girls’ 4 x 2.6km relay (2.6km relay course)
3:00pm - Boys’ 4 x 2.6km relay (2.6km relay course)
