The goal of Salvation Farms is to reduce food loss on farms, increase the use of locally grown foods, and foster an appreciation for Vermont’s agricultural heritage and future. Its work is rooted in sustainable agriculture, natural resource management and experiential education. Salvation Farms is known for its gleaning and Vermont Commodities programs. In 2018, she received the Young Changemaker Award from Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility.
