The country’s most elite XC ski racers will descend on the Outdoor Center for three days of highly competitive racing in honor of our late friend Bill Henchey. Both a SuperTour event, an Eastern Cup event, a Junior National qualifying event, and a college carnival, the Henchey Memorial is a celebration of the type of ski racing that Bill loved. With a skate sprint Friday, classic interval start Saturday, and skate pursuit Sunday, competitors will find themselves challenged all weekend. All three days are SuperTour/ events scored for FIS points, while Friday and Saturday are the UVM Carnival and Saturday and Sunday are part of the NENSA Eastern Cup.

A note on the COVID 19 pandemic: Ski racing is a privilege in the best of times and it is all the moreso during a global pandemic. The Outdoor Center understands that we have a responsibility to our community here in the NEK to make smart, calculated decisions concerning race events. We hope that those participants (racers, coaches, technicians, and spectators) who attend those events understand that they too play a role in keeping this community safe. Please wear masks in public and private spaces as necessary when you are traveling to the event and while you are in the area. We owe it to each other to keep folks safe while we pursue our passion for racing.
