We're excited to be hosting the 4th annual BIPOC Outdoor Fest (BOF), Sunday July 21 from noon-4:30pm!
The BOF is an event created for members of the BIPOC community to gather together and experience outdoor recreation options in a welcoming and affirming space. The event is hosted at the Outdoor Center in collaboration with Unlikely Riders and is a no-cost opportunity to try new outdoor activities or improve one's skill.
This year's activities include: mountain biking, nature walks with flora and fauna identification, stand up paddle-boarding, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and yoga. Instruction and equipment use is complimentary. We strive to keep the event rooted in the BIPOC community by engaging with BIPOC-owned organizations and utilizing BIPOC staff as much as possible.
