Purpose:
This camp for adult biathletes looking for some specific biathlon coaching and training structure. We’ll work on rifle fit, dial in the basics like natural point of aim and trigger squeeze using targeted drills, and include a mix of focused shooting training, physical training (rollerskiing, running, strength), and “combo” training (shooting with a higher heartrate). The week will end with a “fun race” for athletes to hone their skills.
Requirements:
Equipment: Athletes must bring their own equipment including a rifle, cuff, ammo, rollerskis (for those interested in rollerskiing), poles, helmet, running shoes, and water bottle. Athletes are also welcome to bring a bike (gravel or mountain) for an alternative training option.
On-snow biathlon racing experience is required.
Athletes should be able to handle up to 2x/day training sessions.
Any questions are welcome - contact us at biathlon@craftsbury.com
