Virtual Community Fitness: Workout #3
This week’s workout has only three section: a warmup, a circuit, and a stretching cool down, but it’s no less effective and challenging! Here is the video. Remember that the video is just a demonstration of the exercises. I don’t go through the entire circuit three times for the correct duration-that is up to you!
The warmup:
5 times each movement or side
1. Standing arm circles
2. Standing knee hugs
3. Tin soldiers
4. Hip circles
5. Inch worm
Circuit:
3 times through. 40 seconds on, 20 seconds off. 3 minutes rest between each circuit. I recomend some water bottles for added challenge this week.
1. Air squat
2. Water bottle milk the cow
3. Lunge in place
4. Water bottle side bend
5. Toe taps
6. Plank
7. Back plank
8. Leg raises
9. Superman
10. Half banana
11. Donkey kicks
12. Renegade row
Stretch
1.Down dog
2.Calf stretch with chair
3.Child’s pose
4. Cat/cow
5. Hamstring stretch with strap
