Skiing for Runners Camp Recap
We kicked off the New Year in extra-blue, extra-special style with our 2020 Skiing for Runners camp! Our days were filled with technique clinics in the morning, naps post-lunch, and adventure skis in the afternoon. To top it all off, we enjoyed an after-dinner snowshoe through fresh powder and an evening lecture on how to use skiing for running training. The group boasted a hearty mix of total beginners and ex-high school racers stepping back on skis for the first time in years. It was remarkable to see how much each athlete’s skiing improved in just three days. Perhaps best of all, the majority of camp was spent in snowglobe-like conditions - it started snowing Friday afternoon and didn’t let up the rest of camp!
