Recipe of the Month: Blueberry Bliss Smoothie

Heatwaves are in full swing this summer, and we are all looking for ways to cool off. One option to get chill is sipping on the Blueberry Bliss smoothie, especially now that blueberry season is upon us! A great thing about this recipe is how adaptable it is, so you can swap out similar ingredients depending on what you have on hand.

Prep time: 5 minutes
Yield: one serving
INGREDIENTS:
1 large handful mixed greens (spinach, kale, Swiss chard- one or combo)
1 c blueberries (frozen)
1 banana (frozen)
1 T raw almond butter
1 t cinnamon
1 c unsweetened coconut milk
1 T chia seeds
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend. I top the smoothie with raspberries fresh from the garden, more chia seeds, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!
