Preview: Women's Running Retreat

This is a new program for us, so we want to share a little more about the why and the what of our retreat designed by women, for women. The weekend will be different, and here's how: 

This four-day intensive retreat is all about celebrating your running journey through a holistic framework. Our days together will include exercises of the body and mind to build confidence and to give you the skills to realize your running dreams. No matter how many times you’ve laced up, all are welcome. Any age, any pace, any dream, any woman, any she/they are welcome.

Your Runner’s Body: The human body is constantly changing. As runners, we recognize the importance of understanding the relationships of effort, time, nutrition, strength, injury and more. Workshops will focus on the unique strengths and evolution of the female runner body. We’ll discuss the impact of workouts, stress, and age on our bodies, and how to address these complexities in a sustainable way. Our top priority will be on meeting our body where it is and strengthening from there.  

Your Runner’s Mindset: What does it take to lace up when it’s too hot, too cold, or you just don’t feel like it? It takes a runner’s mindset. Harnessing the positive power of the runner’s mindset deserves equal attention as the runner’s body. We’ll dig into the anatomy of both an opened and closed mindset, and how this influences our routine and self-perception. Together we’ll engage in reflection exercises, identify mental barriers, and develop strategies to help you create and develop your own powerful runner’s mindset. 

Your Runner’s Dream: Do you remember why you started to run? Do you crave the reset of a radical change in your running life? Celebrating each woman, their small victories, and their dreams will be at the forefront of the retreat. We’ll guide you through activities to help you re-assess, discover and articulate your runner’s dream. You will leave the weekend equipped with the tools to integrate this intention, growth, and vision into you running life at home.
