How to: Navigate Craftsbury by phone without data

We offer paper maps of our trail system, either printed for pickup at the Touring Center or printable from your home computer. But the maps shown on craftsbury.com/maps are also capable of being used in the field WITHOUT any cellular signal to show your location in real time. Here’s how.

1. Download Avenza Maps - this free app is available for Android and iOS.

Avenza offers a lot of features, even at its free level: measurement, recording of tracks, points and more. But it does limit you to 3 maps at a time for its free version. That’s ok, just have to be a bit thoughtful about what maps you have loaded at any time.
