Carhartts, Craftsbury Style

The temperatures drop, the wind blows. Runners, skiers and rowers are still bent to the task of training. Maintenance and work projects large and small are in process all around the Center - it's Carhartt season.

Not a day goes by without someone wearing a favorite pair in their particular fashion. Hannah wears hers with a dashing blue belt. Eric sports overalls with colorful tops. Keith's are paint-splattered and the original color is long bleached out while Ethan's always seem to have a hole somewhere. There are even Carhartt vests and shorts to be seen.

Layers of dirt, assorted colors, frayed hems and pockets and the older, the better seems to be the way of the pant. Coupled with a flannel shirt or a Patagonia top, wellies or work boots and the Craftsbury autumn look is complete!
